Wolfy usage and on-demand (pay as you go)
How the monthly Wolfy usage in your Flowboost plan works, what uses it and how on-demand usage lets you pay as you go once the included usage runs out.
Wolfy is the AI behind Flowboost, so every AI feature runs on Wolfy usage. Your Flowboost plan includes a monthly amount of it for the whole organisation. When it runs out, on-demand usage lets you keep going and pay as you go for the extra, up to a limit you set. There is nothing separate to buy for Wolfy: its usage is part of the Flowboost plan.
Included usage
Every plan comes with included Wolfy usage that resets each month. Free access has a smaller allowance, and a paid plan raises it. See Plans and billing for what each plan includes.
Usage is shared by the organisation and counts the work involved rather than a fixed number of messages. Anything Wolfy does uses it, for example:
- Chatting with Wolfy and running Wolfy's reports.
- Writing ad copy for ChatGPT Ads product campaigns.
- Slack insights posted for a project.
Track it on the Wolfy usage card on Plans & billing. The card shows how much of the included usage the organisation has used this month and the date it resets.
On-demand usage (pay as you go)
On-demand usage starts once the included usage runs out, so work carries on instead of stopping until the next reset. It is billed in arrears, on top of your plan, for what you actually used.
On-demand usage needs a paid Flowboost plan. On free access, Wolfy stops when the monthly allowance is used up and the banner offers an upgrade instead.
Set the monthly limit
Organisation owners and admins set the on-demand limit on Plans & billing, under Wolfy usage. Choose one of:
- Fixed: a monthly amount in euros. On-demand usage stops once it is reached.
- Unlimited: no cap, you pay for all usage beyond the included amount.
- Disabled: no on-demand usage. Wolfy stops when the included usage runs out.
Other members see the current limit and what has been spent this month, but cannot change it. Disabling on-demand usage keeps your last fixed amount, so turning it back on starts from there.
When you get close to the limit
At around 90% of the included usage, Wolfy shows a banner in the chat with a shortcut to enable on-demand usage.

The ChatGPT Ads campaign builder also estimates how much of your plan's usage writing the copy takes, and tells you when the rest would run on on-demand usage.
Make your usage go further
Start a new chat per topic rather than continuing one long conversation. Switching to a different client doesn't need a new chat on its own (that's handled by switching your active project), but a fresh chat per topic keeps each one focused and short.
Common questions
Is Wolfy priced separately? No. Wolfy is part of your Flowboost plan and uses the plan's included usage.
Why can't I enable on-demand usage? It needs a paid plan, and only organisation owners and admins can change it.
When am I billed for on-demand usage? In arrears, for the usage of the past period, through the same billing account as your plan.
