# Editing reports

> Edit a completed report's body in a live editor before you share or export it.

Once a report is completed, you can edit the body before you share or export it. Open the report
and click **Edit** in the header. The page switches to a live editor that looks like the finished
report, so you can rewrite sections, fix wording or adjust tables without touching markdown
source.

Click **Save** to keep your changes, or **Cancel** to leave editing. If you have unsaved edits,
Cancel asks you to confirm before discarding them.

A couple of things to know while you edit:

- Charts show as code blocks in the editor and render as charts again after you save.
- The exported PDF uses the saved version of the report, including any edits you made.
- Editing a generated report does not change the template or any future scheduled runs. Those
  still produce a fresh Wolfy write-up on the next cadence.
