# Add and manage projects

> Create projects and attach Google Ads and ChatGPT Ads connections in Flowboost.

Projects are named containers inside an organisation. A project can hold a Google Ads connection,
a ChatGPT Ads connection or both.

## Add a project

Click Add project next to the search field, or Add new project at the end of the list (on a phone,
New project), name it and connect the channels that belong to it.

- **Google Ads** draws on the Google access authorised once for the whole organisation. See
  [Connect Google integrations](/docs/organisations/connect-google-integrations).
- **ChatGPT Ads** connects per project with an API key. Open the project and choose Connect in the ChatGPT Ads row.
Once connected, Rotate key saves a new key for the same account.

## Review connections

The Projects page shows every project as a tile with its Google Ads and ChatGPT Ads status. Projects
grouped under a manager project appear as one tile for that manager project instead. Click a tile
to open the project, or its gear in the top right corner to manage it. On a phone it's a list
instead: tap a project to open it, or its gear to manage it. Google Ads and ChatGPT Ads are managed
separately, even when they belong to the same project.

## Manage a project

Select the gear on a project's tile (Manage project) to open its settings. Rename the project with
the pencil beside its name, which opens **Rename project**. On a computer the pencil appears when
you point at the name; on a phone it is always shown. Disconnect ChatGPT Ads with **Disconnect**
on its row. Remove the project from the more actions menu with **Remove project**.
Google Ads is locked to a project once connected, so create a new project if you need a different
Google Ads account. Any member of the organisation can remove a project. Removing a project
pauses its scheduled jobs. The project and its channel connections remain restorable for 7 days in
Recently deleted. Select Restore to recover the project and resume its scheduled jobs.

## Group projects

Open a project's more actions menu and choose **Convert to manager project**. Name the manager
project under **Manager project name**, and optionally add other projects. The Projects page then
shows one tile for the manager project, with the line "Manager project" and a project count, instead
of a tile for each grouped project. Open that tile (**View projects**) to see the projects inside
it. A manager project is never opened as an account itself: you always open one of its projects.
Add or remove projects later from its **Settings**, and rename it there with the pencil beside its
name, which opens **Rename manager project**.

## Users and project contacts

On the project settings page, **Users** shows who can open the project and who gets emails about
it. Everyone in the organisation can open every project, so members are summed up in one line.
The list shows the project contacts and the guests.

Project contacts get the project's emails: alerts when something needs attention, and reports when
they are ready. Choose **Add users** and pick a member to make them a contact, or switch **Emails**
on or off in a row. A project without contacts emails the organisation's owner and admins instead.

## Share a project with a guest

A guest is someone outside the organisation who can open this project and only this project. In
**Add users**, type their email, choose to invite them as a guest, then **Send invitation**. Tick
**Email them about this project** to make them a project contact once they accept. A guest works in
the project like a member, on this organisation's plan. They do not see its other projects,
members or billing. They also never get the emails about the organisation's Google connections.
Remove someone's access from their row.
