# Understand the ChatGPT Ads dashboard

> Use dashboard metrics, date ranges and review queue data in ChatGPT Ads.

The dashboard gives you the current performance overview for the selected ChatGPT Ads account.

Saved results appear when available while newer data loads. For recently visited projects, the default 30-day view refreshes in the background about once an hour. New connections and date ranges you have not opened before may take longer to load.

## Choose summary metrics

Use **Metrics** above the summary cards to select which figures to show. The default cards are **Total ad spend**, **Impressions**, **Clicks** and **Average CPC**; **CTR** and **CPM** are also available. This selection is independent of the Metrics menu in the performance chart and lasts while the dashboard remains open.

## Change the date range

Use the date range filter when comparing recent performance or investigating a change in results. Pick a preset (7, 14, 30 or 90 days) or open the calendar to set a custom range. Turn on **Compare** to compare the range with the **Previous period** or the **Previous year**. Comparison is on by default, against the previous period.

## Review ads that need attention

The Needs attention card lists ads that are rejected or still in review, rejected first, so you can fix them before relying on their performance data.
